Help get the MOST out of your story

Give the story a working title(Required)

Define the story question.

What question is your video is going to answer at that wasn’t known by the viewer before watching it? Be as detailed as possible.

Define the controlling idea.

What idea do you want etched into the mind of viewer after watching your video? The idea can be broad, but be specific to categories or nuances within the idea.

Agitate the problem.

What do we want the viewer to see or hear to ensure they will feel a strong desire for action? Are there issues many viewers may not know about or may not understand? Think of it from the lense of someone who may just have a working understanding of what you're discussing.

Define the stakes.

What are the consequences if action is not taken? Be specific. We want to paint a vivid picture in the minds of our viewers. What will it look like? Feel like? Are the ramifications limited or broad? Who may be an unintended victim?

Position Yourself As the Guide.

How can you guide the viewer to the action they need to become the hero and save the day?

The Plan.

What is the plan the hero must follow to be victorious? Give three to five actionable steps.

Call to Action.

How will we get them to act immediately?

Foreshadow Success.

What will success look like after our hero acts?
