Good Fruit Video is a Lansing-based video production company specializing in high-quality, web-based videos. Being web based, our videos allow a border-less, unlimited and green way to explain your organization to the world. We pride ourselves on quality, integrity, customer satisfaction and social responsibility. Founded in 2009 by Kraig Westfall and Justin Caine, Good Fruit is the combined name of their original individual video companies—Good Time Communications and KiWe Productions.
Justin Caine: Client Relations
Justin Caine has been studying video since high school, where he worked for his school's television channel. In 2002, as a high school senior, Justin's class won national recognition for excellence while competing against other high schools and even universities throughout the country.
After high school Justin attended Lansing Community College, where he studied media technology. Once he received his diploma from LCC, Justin had several short stints in local media outlets, both television and radio, before pursuing self employment. Good Fruit Video is Justin's third venture in the world of business ownership and has allowed him to pursue his two main passions in life: video production and philanthropy. Justin has won several awards for his work in GFV as well as in the community, including:
2009 - Ten Over the Next 10, awarded by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce
2010 - Good Fruit Video was awarded as the Innovators of the Year by the City of East Lansing
2011 - Justin was named Volunteer Philanthropist of the Year
2012 - Good Fruit Video is being inducted into the Michigan Meetings + Events magazine's 2012 Hall of Fame as their Best Up-and-Coming Supplier

Kraig Westfall: Creative Director
Kraig Westfall began his work in television production in 1993. The gear was bigger, more expensive, and VHS was a standard delivery format.
As a young producer for TCI Cablevision Kraig wore all hats: producer, host, cameraman, director, editor, lighting director, cook, and bottle washer! That broad experience early on has helped Kraig produce award winning content for cable, broadcast, and now internet platforms, throughout his 18 year career.
Kraig met daily deadlines and honed his storytelling skills while a Photojournalist for WILX, Lansing MI (Chief Photographer), and WOOD TV8, Grand Rapids, (Photojournalist).
In 2001 Kraig joined the staff of Wolf Creek Productions where he produced outdoor adventure shows for the Outdoor Channel and Men’s Channel cable networks. Kraig’s broad based experience was needed at Wolf Creek to produce 30 minute episodes shot in exotic and remote locations all over the world.
Kraig has shot in Alaska, Argentina, Mexico, and throughout much of the United States. When he came off the road Kraig would then edit for hours to craft compelling, award-winning episodes for Benelli’s American Birdhunter, Steve Gruber’s Wildlife, Outdoor America, and other shows created at Wolf Creek Productions.
Ready to stay closer to home and establish roots in the Greater Lansing region Kraig joined with Justin Caine to form Good Fruit Video in March of 2009.
